Apple unveils 'the most powerful Mac we have ever made'

ProMotion is said to automatically adjust the display to the movement of the content and runs on an advanced iPad Pro Retina display.

Despite the larger screen, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro didn't get any heavier than its predecessor-it still weighs about one pound. This change could mark the beginning of the end for the 9.7-inch screen size - a size which has remained constant in the iPad line since the introduction of the original iPad back in 2010.

Kicking things right off was the iPad Pro's dock.

The new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which was the subject of many rumors before its announcement, features borders reduced by almost 40 percent that allows its stunning, larger display to still fit into a small and compact package - the 10.5-inch model will weigh just one pound. Going forward, all 4K 21.5-inch iMacs come with a discrete graphics chip, representing a huge 80 percent boost in graphics performance.

Apple is also updating the operating software for its Apple Watch, including new watch faces, more personalized alerts that use machine learning to tailor information to you based on your routines and tastes.

Both tablets feature a true tone display and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.

The displays that sit front and center on the iMac are also being improved, with brighter 500 nit displays and 10-bit dithering, which supports up to a billion colors.

We'll have to wait and see just how well the new seventh-gen processors perform up and down the MacBook Pro lineup, but with strong performance from the current sixth-generation chips, we can expect higher clock speeds and better all around performance. While the display's pixel count is probably not upgraded, you get double the old 60Hz refresh rate, 50 percent increased brightness, lower reflectivity and HDR video support. It also includes the same camera as the iPhone 7, for some reason. The A10X packs a six-core CPU - with three high-performance and three high-efficiency cores - and a twelve-core GPU. Apple announced the MacBook Air will be receiving a similar hardware upgrade, but didn't get into the specifics. It will come in December starting at about $5,000. The new iMac Pro is capable of 500W, 67% more power than the previous-gen iMac. This workstation-class device will provide a 27-inch 5K non-touch display, up to an 18-core processor, 32 GB to 128 GB of RAM, 1 TB or more of SSD storage, Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics with 8 GB or more of dedicated RAM, and four Thunderbolt 3 ports. On Monday at WWDC, Apple is expected to announce an entirely new piece of hardware so it can compete with. The App Store, in particular, is getting a major refresh. Standalone leather Apple Pencil cases have been released as well - available in the same set of colors.

The company's latest iPads have been detailed.

Of course, talk about what's new in iOS 11 wouldn't be complete without a discussion about the new features arriving for the Apple Pencil.

The 21.5-inch model will be available with up to 32GB, while the 27-inch one, can be customized with up to 64GB.
