Oakland triumphant as parade set to celebrate NBA's Warriors

Already a 73-win team and coming off a heartbreaking NBA Finals in which they coughed up a 3-1 series lead, the Warriors seemed to have it all - talent, depth, and motivation to spare.

The Audible boys are back to talk about the Golden State Warriors winning their second championship in three years.

Per usual, LeBron James notched another triple-double while breaking two records in the process: One, he passed Michael Jordan to become the third greatest scorer and counting in NBA Finals history. "No matter where they go, it's still in the Golden State".

"The Warriors have taken care of business by bringing home another National Basketball Association championship and now it's BART's turn". It just means that what we should is focus on, is there something about the way they were developed that turned them into such great players?

"Experience is the best teacher in life, and he's just experiencing and experiencing", he said.

"And that last three minutes was a blur just of pure emotion and energy". And when Steph turned that corner, I think it was after Christmas Day, when he turned that corner, we became nearly unbeatable. "There's going to be a lot of teams that's trying to figure out ways to put personnel together to try and match that", LeBron James said after Game 5. "This is something we want to continue to do". But like I said, we'll all figure something out. But some front offices have undergone recent overhauls, and more of that could be on the way - especially if Cleveland does not retain GM David Griffin, whose contract with the Cavs is expiring.

It also created lofty expectations for Durant, with many onlookers saying his move would be a failure if the Warriors did not go on to win a title in their first season together.

"It's hard to compare to what that feeling was the first time, but it's pretty darn close", Curry said. Last year's champions, the Cavaliers, were there much sooner when they made the trip in November 2016.

"It's the business of basketball obviously so nothing is for sure, but here I feel like we can work that out and we'll have a chance to do this again next year", Durant said.

There is no doubt the Warriors are a super team, with a roster that features Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant - both league MVPs - as well as Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. At the time, his long-term durability was a question mark; now we know the deal was an incredible bargain for the Warriors. "And if there are additional changes we need to make to promote competitive balance, we will". "He felt like he needed to reassemble and reassess his career and come here".

At the start, Curry took a back seat to let KD get comfortable.
