'The Bachelorette' finale spoilers: Rachel Lindsay finds her man

However, seeing how Rachel turned down runner-up Peter after he refused to get down on one kneee, fans were convinced Rachel was only after an engagement ring - and not love.

After 11 loooooong weeks of what was easily the most unexciting season of ABC's "The Bachelorette", Rachel Lindsay finally picked her suitor. Let's take a look at the possibilities.

Rachel told him she didn't want only a boyfriend but a fiancé at the end of the show, so he said, "Then I have to wish you the very best....if you change your mind, you know where you can find me".

Personally, I was realy hoping for Eric - so honest! However, Lindsay said she's not anxious about it, and knows they will come around.

Peter Kraus or Bryan Abasolo? A 32-year-old savvy lawyer from Dallas who seemed to step into a season so hand-tailored to her liking that it lacked the ability to create the dramatic, emotional feel the show is known and loved for.

But the two have agreed on one thing: a winter wedding. "I see my forever", she told him. Rachel obviously found that appealing. Things just felt choppy going back and forth between the episode and their reactions. And with that, the couple heads off to the Fantasy Suite. He wasn't sure if he was ready to propose, and your girl came here for a PROPOSAL. Later in the night Bryan gives Rachel a book of translation cheat sheets. For the first time, "The Bachelorette" was in the hot seat the entire time, watching everything with host Chris Harrison and a live audience.

'What is wrong with me?' he was heard asking himself after her dramatic exit.

Bryan does have some red flags.

I have to admit this took a lot of the fun out of it for me. "That's where I get it from", she explained.

"Rachel really didn't know who to choose". Bryan's visit with Rachel's family was also highly suggestive.

Meanwhile, Bryan made his feelings for the stunning star clear from the very beginning, repeatedly telling Rachel he wanted to spend his life with her.

But Rachel, his charm borders on smarm! And you enjoy being courted and enjoy being engaged and there's no rush for either one of us. That is not going to be an easy Thanksgiving with the in-laws.

"I've fallen in love with you more every single day", he said to his future bride. Except, maybe, the torpedoing of Peter becoming the next Bachelor. The possibility of Eric is especially interesting, given the Bachelor would once again feature a black lead and likely also a diverse cast.

As you may recall, just as Peter was about to get into the Fantasy Suite, reality got in the way.
