Mueller has sued Taylor, saying her claim that he groped her during a meet-and-greet in 2013 is false, and caused him to be fired.

The radio show host has since accused the singer of slander, to which she counter-sued him for sexual assault and battery.

Mueller took the witness stand at the federal court and denied the singer's allegations, which he said had cost him his career, passion, and income, as he was sacked from his position at KYGO-FM because of it.

Taylor Swift went on to perform her concert at the Pepsi Center. Swift said others felt it was "imperative" to let Mueller's bosses know what had happened.

Swift countersued Mueller, claiming sexual assault.

"If I had more time, to walk over to get into the photo, it certainly would have been possible", Mueller responded about possibly putting his hand elsewhere than below her waist.

Though several fans showed up for the trial, public interest in watching it at the downtown Denver courthouse is lower than expected, according to the Denver Post, which said that public seats to view the trial in an overflow room were handed over to the media.

Andrea blamed herself for her daughter's passive reaction to the alleged assault. Earlier this week, he testified in court, appealing his innocence. Both teams also used additional photos from other meet-and-greets that night they claim prove their point about the nature of Mueller's conduct.

"If you look at that photo, his hand is not underneath her skirt".

David Mueller told jurors at the civil trial on dueling lawsuits filed by Mueller and Swift that he and the singer-songwriter were trying to reach around one another and "our hands touched and our arms touched" during a photo opportunity he estimated lasted no more than 40 seconds.

Her lawyer, J. Douglas Baldridge, suggested during cross-examination of Mueller on Tuesday that the DJ was angry at having to wait in line with Swift's young fans for the picture-taking session.

In addition, Baldridge quoted a deposition by Swift's photographer Stephanie Simbeck, who said Swift uttered "that guy" had grabbed her behind.

Bell is a longtime friend of Swift's father, Scott Swift, who was in court watching the proceedings.

"I did not want this event to define her life", Andrea Swift said.

The jury panel was made up of to two men and six women, and they heard of when Taylor told someone on her team, 'Dude, that guy just grabbed my ass, ' right after the alleged incident in 2013.

Although people said they were enjoying themselves, they did acknowledge that court can be tedious.

"A meet-and-greet is supposed to be a situation where you're thanking people for coming, you're supposed to be welcoming people into your home, which is the arena for that day, and for someone to violate that hospitality in that way, I was completely stunned", Swift said.
